State Officials Offer Tips for a Safe Super Bowl Sunday
Officials say the goal is zero deaths this weekend.
Just in time for Super Bowl weekend, traffic safety, law enforcement and alcohol control officials are urging New Jerseyans to be responsible during and after the big game festivities on Sunday. Attorney General Jeffrey S. Chiesa said that people should under no circumstances get behind the wheel if they’ve been drinking. Instead, they should plan ahead. “Many fans will be attending parties at friends’ homes, bars and local restaurants,” Chiesa said. “If your Super Bowl celebration includes alcohol, plan ahead and make sure you have a designated driver.
