Resident reports missing jewelry box from master bedroom.

A jewelry box was reported stolen Wednesday from a Parsippany Boulevard home, Parsippany Police said Thursday. A resident at the home told police that he returned home at about 11 p.m., and found items including a box of jewelry missing from the master bedroom, Patrolman Earl Kinsey said. Kinsey said the value of the items was not known at the time that the report was filed. Police said a probe is underway and in the hands of Det. Darren Theobald, of the Parsippany Police Department’s Investigative Division. Police are also investigating the attempted break-in of an Aida Court home where three masked men were seen on the property by a neighbor Wednesday evening.
