Top Stories: Skeletal Remains Found, House Burns

A Parsippany youth was seriously injured in a Vail Road incident on April 16, police said. Human skeletal remains were found by a cleaning crew along Sylvan Way on April 12. A Lake Parsippany man who was asleep managed to escape a fire that destroyed his home on April 17. Patrice Nicita was devastated following the fire that destroyed her family's home. Nicita was thankful her husband was able to escape the blaze. A Parsippany maintenance department employee has been accused of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute and allegedly stealing from the Parsippany Community Center, police said.

UPDATED: 3 Stabbed Inside Parsippany Apartment

Prosecutor: 37-year-old man, mother and her daughter found wounded at New Road complex.

Three people were stabbed in an altercation at a New Road apartment complex Monday afternoon, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said. According to Capt. Jeffrey Paul, a spokesman for Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi, Brian Davis, 37, allegedly stabbed a 58-year-old woman and her 26-year-old daughter inside the Partridge Run apartment complex at 130 New Road. Parsippany Police found Davis inside the apartment allegedly armed with a knife at about 3 p.m., the prosecutor's office said. Davis, who had also sustained stab wounds, was subdued by police after a brief struggle, the prosecutor's office said. It was not immediately known how Davis sustained the stab wounds. Alleged Kmart Shoplifter Charged With Another Theft

Already charged with multiple robberies on Route 46, man now reportedly charged with theft at Boonton Game Stop.

The man who was linked to seven strong-armed robberies and attempted robberies on Route 46 after being caught allegedly shoplifting from Kmart has now reportedly been charged with another crime. According to the Daily Record, Ilya Belous, 25, of Parsippany, has been charged with robbing $400 from Game Stop in Boonton on Dec. 12. The report says Belous, who had previously worked for the store, was picked out of a lineup by an employee. Belous was confronted last month by the Parsippany Kmart's security after he allegedly walked out of the store on Dec. 27 pushing a cart with a 40-inch Samsung television valued at $329.99 that he hadn't paid for.
