"There are a lot of people in this town who really care," said cleric–and volunteer paramedic–Don Bragg.
About 75 residents turned out to the Sheraton Parsippany Hotel Monday evening for what Parsippany Police billed as an opportunity to "meet your local heroes." The occasion was the second Community Partnership Program, a periodic offering of the PPD designed to give citizens a behind-the-scenes look at the various departments that serve the township. Monday's event featured Parsippany's emergency service providers. Representatives of the town's many emergency organizations gave the audience a summation of each group's activities. The event was held at All Saints Academy on Baldwin Road thanks to the combined efforts of the mayor's office, the Kiwanis Club of Greater Parsippany (along with its Key Club youth group), the Rotary Club of Parsippany, the Woman's Club of Parsippany-Troy Hills, and the Morris County chapter of the Sons of Italy, Parsippany Lodge #2561 (whose members crafted meatballs worthy of the …

Oye, its Roy Messmepants making uninformed comments again. A very self loving man he is, the first to complain should an emergency service take to long to arrive. Most of the people there that night were VOLUNTEERS. Do you know what that means Ray? It means giving yourself to another for betterment and not having your mirror reflection stare back telling you that you are wonderful. Understand …   more ›
