Share Your Love Story on Patch

Sometimes love is sweet, sometimes it's sour. We want to hear all flavors of love stories for Valentine's Day.

Who says Valentine’s Day needs to be all love and flowers? Let’s face it. Sometimes, love doesn’t exactly work out as planned. Whether it’s bad dates or a good intention that lead to a bad outcome—like arranging a skiing trip and breaking your leg on the trip, or buying a gift that triggered your beau's allergies— everyone has stories about trying to find, impress or keep “the one." Some of those stories are pretty hilarious—in hindsight, of course. That’s why, for Valentine's Day, Parsippany Patch wants to hear your bad, unfortunate or funny stories from past dates, break-ups or attempts to impress their significant other. Local Spa Gives Couples A New Way to Share

A shared massage or facial can bring a twosome closer.

Let us guess: You have no clue what to give your significant other for Valentine's Day. You've thought about clever cards, decadent chocolates and expensive flowers, but would prefer to do something new, something outside of the status quo. A Parsippany spa says the answer for you and your someone special could be a massage for two. Love is even lovelier when you enjoy a massage as a couple, according to Steve Miller, co-owner of Massage Envy Spa.  "When couples come in together, it's a great time to connect," Miller said. Right now, Massage Envy offers pampering a deux for couples: For $98, a pair can enjoy a one-hour massage for two in the same or separate rooms. I've worked with Steve Miller on the Eastlake Elementary fundraiser. He is so eager to help us raise money to help the kids of Parsippany. I can't see anything better than getting a massage while also supporting our schools. I hope his generosity inspires other business owners in the community to do the same.
