A Parsippany man is being held at the Morris County Jail on $225,000 bail after being charged Monday with sexually assaulting a boy over a seven-year period, according to a NJ.com report. An affidavit signed by Sgt. Anthony DeVincenzo of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said Keith W. Harp, 44, allegedly committed the crimes in Parsippany and in Carroll County, Md. Harp is charged with four counts of aggravated sexual assault, two counts of child endangerment and one count each of aggravated criminal sexual contact and sexual assault. Lake Hiawatha resident admits to distributing photos over the Internet, U.S. Attorney says.
A Lake Hiawatha man admitted to having more than 46,000 child pornography images and distributing them over the Internet, New Jersey U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced Wednesday. The illegal photographs included scenes of child sexual abuse, many involving babies and sadomasochism, Fishman said. Khalil Survey, 39, was indicted on one count of possession of child pornography and one count of distributing child pornography. He pleaded guilty to both counts before U.S. District Judge William H. Walls in Newark federal court. Survey was arraigned in October on the charges. A Lincoln Park man pleaded guilty in federal court Thursday to charges of distribution of child pornography through the Internet. William Rensing, 46, has prior convictions for sexual assault of a minor and now faces a minimum mandatory penalty of 15 years in prison and maximum potential penalty of up to 40 years in prison, in addition to a $250,000 fine, according to U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman. He is scheduled to be sentenced on March 22. A Lake Hiawatha man has been arraigned on charges he distributed images of child sexual abuse over the Internet, with more than 46,000 images found on his electronic devices, according to the Department of Justice. Khalil Survey, 39, of Lake Hiawatha, was arraigned on Wednesday after previously being indicted on one count of possession of child pornography and one count of distributing child pornography. A Lake Hiawatha man was sentenced Tuesday to five years in prison for distribution of child pornography, the U.S. Attorney's Office said. Charles Dolick, 69, had previously pled guilty to distributing more than 600 images of child pornography through a "peer-to-peer file network" in September 2010, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman said. The images and videos distributed included young children engaging in sexual contact and relations with other children and adults, the U.S. Attorney's Office said. A Bloomingdale man was charged Wednesday with possession and distribution of child pornography. Joseph Giordano, 52, was arrested by the Passaic County Sheriff's Department at his Bloomingdale home, according to Sheriff Richard Berdnik. He was transported to the Passaic County jail in lieu of $50,000 bail with no 10 percent option. Berdnik said Giordano is a customer service representative for Parsippany-based Magellan Health Services.
