Woman Kicked in Head in Diner Fight, Police Say
Verbal dispute leads to physical altercation at Empire Diner early Sunday morning.
An early Sunday morning brawl broke out at the Empire Diner, resulting in a woman being kicked in the head, according to Parsippany Police. At about 2:45 a.m., an apparent verbal dispute turned into a physical altercation as an unknown number of people traded blows, Officer Earl Kinsey said. Kinsey said that by the time township police arrived at the scene, the fight was over and the participants had departed. Officers from Boonton and Montville were also called to the scene, Kinsey said. Only one person was injured—a woman who said she was kicked in the head during the altercation, Kinsey said. However, she declined medical treatment, he said. According to Kinsey, there were no arrests and no serious damage to the diner.
