Foiled Burglary Leads to Dover Man's Arrest
Police were tipped off when an Intervale Gardens reported a man's behavior to law enforcement.
An 18-year-old Dover man didn't get away with any loot, but was arrested on a burglary charge early Thursday near the Intervale Gardens apartment complex, according to Parsippany Police. Heri Abas was arrested and charged with burglary and underage consumption of alcohol. Police said no items were reported stolen in relation to the incident. After receiving a call about someone possibly burglarizing vehicles in the complex parking lot just before 12:30 a.m., officers arrived at the scene. Department spokesperson Ptlm. Earl Kinsey said the resident who made the call described seeing a male suspect trying door handles of several vehicles, and said the suspect entered at least one of the vehicles and left the area in a silver car. Funny one Par4thCourse, sounds like you know a thing or two about bullying at the high school level. However, the only people crying here are the residents paying huge property tax bills and nothing to show for it -- just an inadequate Police Department and an out-of-touch, easily led and distracted mayor.
