Quartet of Red Hawks, Vikings Off to MCT Wrestling Quarters
Wrestlers advanced in Day 1 action at Mount Olive High School.
It was an exciting day in Mount Olive for the Parsippany and Parsippany Hills High School wrestling teams on Friday, as each saw four wrestlers advance to Saturday’s quarterfinal round at the Morris County Tournament. Leading the way for Parsippany Hills was 112-pounder Kyle Bota, Christian Signorelli (125), Dillon Danis (152) and Nick D’Uva (189), who all won their second-round matches to advance in the tournament. “I think Dillon Danis wrestled really well today,” Par Hills head coach Jason Lodato said. “I expected him to win, but I think that was probably the best that he has wrestled as far as style.” Par Hills also saw unseeded wrestlers including Robert Fornini (103), Brian Zelasny (119), Steven Stringas (130), Paul DiVitantonio (135…
