Chamber of Commerce Launches Free Resume Database

The Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce is offering a free resume database, part of their Employment Outreach Program.

The Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce is rolling out the next phase of their successful Employment Outreach Program with a free resume database for area businesses and residents. The Employment Outreach Program, which was introduced seven years ago by its President Robert J. Peluso, has assisted 2,500 job seekers and 75 area employers, members of the Chamber said. More Than 450 Job Seekers Look for Work at Chamber of Commerce Fair

The Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce says its most recent job fair, held Wednesday at the Holiday Inn of Parsippany, was a big success. The organizations said more than 450 local job seekers meet 33 local employers at the event, a project of the PACC's Employment Outreach Program that features strategic partnerships which include the NJSBDC of Northwest Jersey, free job posting boards, newsletters, career counseling, internships and seminars. One in six men will contract prostate cancer in his lifetime, according to the American Cancer Society. More than 32,000 likely will die this year. CareOne at Morris and CareOne at Morris Assisted Living are looking for high rollers with an altruistic streak.
