Prescription Fraud Bust Leads to Arrest of Stanhope Man
Police say the man also had outstanding warrants from three municipalities.
A Stanhope man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly trying to fill a fraudulent prescription at the Parsippany Kmart at 808 Route 46, Parsippany Police said. Anthony R. Lamicella, 47, was taken into custody and charged with attempting to obtain Oxycodone by forgery, specifically by presenting a fraudulent prescription, according to a police statement. At about 4 p.m., according to department spokesperson Sgt. Yvonne Christiano, Officers Paul Levi and Ross Cooper responded to the drug store after getting a report of the incident.
