Planning Board OKs St. Elizabeth School Parking Lot

A chamber featuring a large group of nuns looked on as board members debated lighting and speeders.

At its regular meeting Monday night, the Parsippany Planning Board approved an application by the Franciscan Sisters of St. Elizabeth to build a new parking lot at St. Elizabeth School, 499 Park Road. The project also includes making temporary classroom structures permanent. Residents will have a chance to voice concerns about the proposed lot at the conclusion of that meeting. Attorney Bill Strasser approached the board with applications to build a new parking lot, as well as to convert the current temporary classrooms at the school, which were installed in 2000, into permanent structures. The classrooms have all …

That school really needs more parking. My son went there several years ago for pre-k and it was crazy then. I can only imagine it is 10x more troublesome now.   more ›
