The Infernos Heat Up Par-Troy, School Board Talks Fields and More This Week

Parsippany happenings over the next seven days

The Municipal Alliance Committee, a township advisory committee dedicated to preventing drug and alcohol abuse and destructive decisions holds its monthly meeting Monday at 7 p.m. at the Parsippany Police Athletic League at 33 Baldwin Road. The Parsippany Planning Board meets Monday to discuss and approve (or deny) building requests with a focus on the township's Master Plan. The public is invited to attend. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Town Hall. Neighbors-Helping-Neighbors, a free peer-led volunteer support group for people actively looking for work meets Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. at the Parsippany-Troy Hills Library, Lake Hiawatha Branch at 68 Nokomis Ave. in Hiawatha. Dine Out for CASA, Council and Zoning Board Meet and More This Week

It's Make a Difference Monday! Treat yourself to a casual lunch or dinner at Parsippany Patch Readers' Choice Best Italian Restaurant winner Gourmet Café. You pay $15, and proceeds benefit CASA of Morris and Sussex Counties, Inc., a nonprofit organization that advocates for abused and neglected children in foster care. Parsippany Lacrosse Club Clinic Registration is open to the public all day Monday through Saturday at Jannarone Park at Cranberry Road & Walsh Drive; the cost is $50.
