I am a graduate of Parsippany High School, Mount Holyoke College (BA), Band Street College of Education (MS), and Rochester Institute of Technology (MFA). I am a native of Parsippany, and left after college, returning to live here in 2004. I have worked as a teacher, an arts administrator, and an artist, and have been an active community volunteer in Rochester, N.Y., with the Girl Scouts, League of Women Voters, the PTA ,and the Unitarian Church there. My husband, Robert Peterson, and I raised a son and a daughter. I presently serve as the secretary of the Parsippany-Troy Hills Preservation Advisory Committee, and am being trained in Jin Shin Jyutsu.
