Christopher Miller is a life member of Parsippany Volunteer Ambulance Squad, an EMT since 1988, also grand-fathered from NJSFAC 8-point certified. I was a junior member and started with the squad in April of 1985. I have been a Basic Life Support Instructor for the American Heart Association since 1988, my training centers are Saint Clares and Atlantic Health. I have served as Captain in 1999 and 2003, 2nd Senior Lieutenant 2011, President 2001-2002, Vice President 2007, Background Co-Chair 2010-2011, and as Trustee many times. I have also held the position 1st Senior Lieutenant prior to it being an elected position. I also participate in several committees including Finance/Fund Drive, Insurance and Junior Squad Advisor among some of them.

I enjoy volunteering my time and would never consider doing EMS as job although as much as I do at the squad, some would consider it a job, but to me it is more than that.

I was an instructor for the Parsippany Citizen's Police Academy, informing the class on all things EMS for Parsippany. It was not necessarily limited to Parsippany Ambulance but for the entire township and how we operate as distinct and separate organizations.
