Politics as usual -- the Mayor and his 500 jobs for Waterview project is a joke to any educated voter. Retail jobs that don't pay or temporary construction job to out of town residents aren't rateables that are going to help our tax base. The Mayor attracting corporations to fill office rateables would however which was what the land is zoned for -- not for developer kickbacks to rezone and screw over local residents. The mayors poor handling of the Sandy power outage compared to other towns while hotels and gas stations illegally spiked prices and we were one of the last towns with power is another example of poor leadership. Poor school ratings, no improvement in traffic, declining property value and high legal fees are all examples of other reasons why this clown and current board members should be voted out. As for his daughter and friends and family well I wasn't there but I expect they will likely have an unemployed day come fall unless the developer wants to offer his a cushiony job when he is voted out of office by the constituents he has not served.

Just another day -- business as usual in Parsippany. A great place to live if you want to live in a pipe dream. The corruption, incompetence and lack of focus are simply mind-boggling. Then again perhaps it is that the demographics have been drastically changing and nobody really cares enough to make a difference. All said buying a place in this town was definitely not a smart move on my part as it is time to pack it in and move to a town that actually cares about the taxpayer and improving property values.

Yeah it is like looking at the Three Stooges... I want to see a visionary and it is time to clean house of the folks that haven't done a thing for thins community in years. Average taxes have increased yearly over 5% per year so this is a teaser no tax increase year. While taxes have gone up services have not -- I feel we are getting less and less for our money while traffic congestion increases and property values fall. Unfortunately this is a vicious cycle as ideal citizens and taxpayers are going to avoid this town and leave as things continue to decline. Think we need a new slogan. Great Place to Live Isn't Cutting It For A Slogan Any More.

I think the news is as NJ Governor shouldn't he be required to have this surgery that would be considered elective surgery under most plans in the state of NJ. After all your taxpayers of NJ that you work for footed the bill of your health insurance so why would the procedure not be done here in NJ to support NJ commerce? Another example of Gov Christie's leadership and decision making skills in action.

I agree with Thomas that the garbage collection in Parsippany is substandard. I would be surprised if the average sanitation worker was making $15.39/hour in Parsippany when we seem to overpay so many other public employees in this township. Of course then again watching 3-5 people sit around the recycling center in the town and do pretty much nothing probably doesn't warrant more than $15/hour. After all as a taxpayer I am paying you to do nothing -- based on this performance you are eligible to replace the current mayor who is also pretty much worthless and has done nothing to improve the quality if life of this community.

What is this the Jerry Springer forum -- if the guy is guilty I hope he gets everything he deserves and more both in prison and when it is time to meet his maker. In the off chance he is being falsely accused I hope that the teen gets the harshest punishment feasible and that karma comes full circle. The only people worst than pedophiles are cold blooded murders and the crooked politicians that continue to steal from us blind.

Nothing new -- hotels in Parsippany are routine areas of Prostitution, the new demographics love to stack and want everything for free and bring no value to the community. When the hotels aren't housing Prostitutes and Pimps they are gouging during the hurricane crisis. On the bright side traffic congestion will be at an all-time high after they rezone most of Parsippany (political kick backs anyone). Yep -- history does have a tendency of repeating itself.

I would like to know the physicians on the take too please. Too bad government officials that get caught stealing usually only get a slap on the wrist. Oh that is right they write the laws so no shocker there for lack of accountability to the taxpayers.

Just another fine day in the corrupt town of Parsippany. I read yesterday that Parsippany is lagging on home appreciation projections this year which makes me wonder if it is just time to take the hit and sell. Sure I will lose 6-7 percent now in fees but watching property values drop due to a rotten to the core, corrupt bunch of wannabe leaders who have done nothing to address qulaity of life, quality of schools and solid business growth (not on the backs of existing taxpayers is discouraging at best). The Mayor and town council clearly do not have the majority of the taxpayers as their primary concern which leads me to believe there is a lot of money changing hands in the good old boy system of Parsippany. FOr my neighbors that are stuck here due to being underwater, unable to take the short term hit or family obligations -- I truly feel sorry for you as the taxpayers of this community are very fragmented in dealing with what I would consider a true community crisis.

Parsippany is led by the most corrupt -- I don't know if it is because of the diverse population not voting or keeping up on politics or just the corrupt to the core system here but good taxpayers continue to leave and put their homes up for sale as these crooked worthless pieces of garbage run this town into the ground. About time us taxpayers did our job and held these clowns accountable and vote them out and prosecute the corrupt bunch.
