Reply$900,000 for capital improvements on a $132M income. WOW that is a whopping 0.68%. This from the people that wanted $17M for football fields. Time to adjust priorities. We need to see where the money goes. And when the publish the salary line they need to break it out by classification and head count. That will really be interesting. I think a no vote is coming.

ReplyThe problem I have is that the facts get blurred. I would like to see a salient and complete presentation of the project without having to sit thru the planning board. Patch how about you run an article with the details and a site plan. Thanks.

ReplyI wonder what has been done to maintain the fields. It seems the problems surfaced when the town was no longer assisting. Let's start by getting the people responsible for taking care of the fields moving. If the fields need smoothing I saw a sign on 46 near Fairfield for FREE top soil. It is a great time to put down new dirt and let the grass grow.

ReplyIt should be called anti-pedestrian. It is a significant impediment to get from one side to the other. Other options should be considered. I agree. It is an eyesore even when it was new.

ReplyI have a fixed payment program thru PSE&G. Not really a third party. I would expect it to be less but do not want to get off of the fized payment plan. A whole lot more information will need to be provided. Might start with a deadline date. We should also consider that the vendor is not doing this for "no cost". They make money as middlemen.

ReplyI think the town should intiate imminet domain over the lake. It could be an asset for all of town of Parsippany to use. Why limit the use of the lake to a few fortunate owners around the lake. Would teach to old grouches a lesson about sharing and civility also. After all immient domain has been used to build big block malls and other commercial enterprise to the real detriment of a neighborhood. Maybe we could call it the "Lake of Dreams" for Jamie. Ha Ha

ReplyThere are too many tightly packed residences in Parsippany already. We should look at the ratio of that type of housing compared to single family accomodations and make adjustments. There are plenty of other areas to build these than where the developer wants to put this mess. How about he builds it near the water tank on the same road.

ReplyForget the plan to use artificial turf. It is not cost effective or ecologically sound. Although it will look nice at first it will require replacement before it is paid for. Our money would be better spent on maintenance of the existing grass field and upgrading the accessory structures. They are what is really sad about the facility.
However the administration is losing the focus of the educational system. It is to educate!!! That internal email was nothing but propaganda for a failing proposition. A drowning man grabbing at others to take them down also.GET BACK TO EDUCATING OUR CHILDREN!!!!

Parsippany is really becoming the laughing stock of NJ. First the greedy Superintendent and the School Council Follies, then the Field of Out of Your Mind. Does not surprise me that the mayor is peddling influence.
