Local PanCAN Finds Success in PurpleStride Parsippany

Participants raised more than $250K, beating the goal of $235,000 for the 2013 PurpleStride New Jersey.

This past Sunday, more than 2,000 people participated in the PurpleStride New Jersey at the Mack Cali Corporate Complex in Parsippany. Pancreatic Cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer death in the United States, according to Todd Cohen, Media Representative of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

Participants also raised more than $250,000 said Cohen.

Also, some who attended the event shared their day on Instagram. 

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network - Northern New Jersey posted some photos of the event on their Facbeook page. 

"Thanks to all who attended and donated and we look forward to seeing you again next November as we continue the march to a cure," said PanCAN.
