$2K in Jewelry, TV Stolen from Parsippany Home Burglary

Knoll Road incident on Friday latest in series of Parsippany break-ins.

A television, jewelry, safe and laptop case were stolen from a Parsippany home in the latest of a series of burglaries in the area.

Parsippany Police are investigating a burglary at a home on Knoll Road that happened Friday sometime between 6:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., police said.

The 38-year-old resident told Officer Michael Sprung he returned home and found that every room in his home “appeared to have been disturbed," according to Sprung’s initial investigation.

The forced entry was through a basement window and the back sliding glass door was used to exit, police said. A 35-inch TV worth $500, $2,000 worth of jewelry, a safe and a laptop case were reported stolen, police said.

Parsippany Police Department’s Investigative Division Detective Anthony Morelli and the Morris County Criminal Investigative Division arrived to further investigate.
