Parsippany Man Killed in 287 Crash, State Police Say

James Palladino, 32, of Parsippany was killed Thursday in a crash on Route 287, according to police.

A Parsippany man was killed after his car left the road on 287 and struck a tree, according to a State Police Report.

James Palladino, 32, was driving on Route 287 South around 8:55 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15 when he drove off the road and crashed into the woods near Exit 40, State Police Sgt. Adam Grossman told nj.com.

“After crashing into the woods, the vehicle may have crossed over another ramp before crashing into the back of a building on Entin Road,” he said.

A Parsippany man was killed Thursday morning in a single-vehicle crash off of Route 287, State Police said.

The accident is still under investigation.

According to the New Jersey State Department of Transportation, the ramp for Exit 40 was closed until 11:53 a.m.
